Specialized Turbo Men's Vado 6.0
$5,000.00
The Specialized Men's Turbo Vado 6.0 is the latest evolution of their award-winning pedal-assist technology, and let us tell you, it takes a massive step forward into the future of bicycle design. It features a custom battery and motor that are fully integrated with the bike and specifically tuned for city riding. The battery is super easy to remove from the bike for easy charging anywhere. The Mission Control App uses Bluetooth to let you toggle between three battery modes and increase your range in real time. You can even plot your course, and the app will adjust your battery mode while you're riding to make sure that you get through your ride on one charge. For the frame, Specialized opted for durable, lightweight aluminum and a geometry that increases comfort and smoothness. It also features reflective paint that illuminates under a headlight, increasing your visibility in low-light conditions. And for the build, you'll find confident hydraulic TRP Zurich disc brakes, wide-ranging 11-speed Shimano XT shifting, and integrated lights at the front and rear with Specialized's revolutionary lightguide technology. The Rx Street Tune takes the 350-watt output and optimizes it for the urban environment—reacting to the amount of force you apply to the pedals. Think of it this way: The more power you put out, the more power the motor puts out, and this makes accelerations from a standstill both quick and efficient. The belt driven motor is also smooth, silent, and free of annoying vibrations. Perfect. - A custom 2.2-inch BLOKS. digital TFT display enables you to monitor all of your ride data in real time. It also connects with the Turbo Vado Mission Control App via Bluetooth, so you have full control over the tune, modes, range, and much more. - The Vado’s motor is fully integrated with the frame and features a 350-watt output. It's also been custom-tuned for city riding, and it intuitively reacts to the force of your pedaling—so the harder you pedal, the more power it delivers. And with an internal belt drive design, it does this without added vibration for the smoothest and most silent ride possible. - Specialized made the custom 604Wh battery to be fully integrated with the frame, removable for easy charging, and lockable for added security. It communicates with the display and has multiple modes to maximize the overall efficiency and range.
Specialized Turbo Women's Vado 6.0
$5,000.00
Beginning with a completely redesigned and integrated motor, the Vado proves itself as the ultimate city bike. The Rx Street Tune takes the 350-watt output and makes perfect for the urban environment—reacting to the amount of force you apply to the pedals. Think of it this way: The more power you put out, the more power the motor puts out, and this makes accelerations from a standstill both quick and efficient. The belt driven motor is also smooth, silent, and free of annoying vibrations. Perfect. For the Vado 6.0, Specialized developed a custom 604Wh battery that seamlessly integrates into the frame, is lockable, and easily removable for simplified charging. With this battery, the Turbo Vado 6.0 will deliver a pedal-assisted boost up to 50 miles in Economy mode, 35 miles in Sport mode, and 25 miles in Turbo mode. These estimates, of course, have some assumptions—the total rider and bike weight is 220 pounds, the terrain is flat with some inclines, and there is either no wind or a light breeze. In other words, with a top speed of 28mph, there's plenty of juice to take you to and from work, a trip to the grocery store, or even to that new café on the other side of the city. They also developed a custom-for-Vado 2.2-inch computer with the German powerhouse, BLOKS. With this touchscreen smart computer, you’re able to connect, via Bluetooth, to the Turbo Vado Mission Control App for full control over your Vado. This app allows you to tune the motor to your personal preferences, it eliminates range anxiety through the Smart Control function, and it offers you a wide range of features, including navigation, tracking, diagnostics, and ride history. Surly Big Fat Dummy
$2,950.00
The Big Fat Dummy is a long tail cargo bike that took a few too many doses of growth hormones. At first glance, you might say that Surly just put bigger tires on a Big Dummy. But if you said that, you'd actually be very wrong so just… don't. Think of Big Fat Dummy as more of a second or third cousin to Big Dummy rather than a brother. They share some of the same DNA and look sort of similar, but they're two very different bikes and really only interact when they both reach for the potato salad spoon at that family reunion that no one really wants to be at anyway. Now that that's out of the way, let's get down to the nitty gritty of what makes this hulking beast of a bike tick. Surly's goal with designing a cargo bike around fat tires was to create the most stable, stiff, and traction-laden ride possible while hauling a ton of stuff. Big Fat Dummy has a longer toptube and slacker headtube than its more svelt cousin giving it a nice, predictable, and stable ride. They also used thinner, lighter tubing to construct its cargo area so while it's an overall burlier bike, there's not much difference in weight. Big Fat Dummy accepts either 10mm or 12mm axles in the rear with a spacing of 190/197mm. That big ol' spacing equates to one thing: tire clearance for days. Big Fat Dummy maxes out at a massive 26 x 5.25" tire.* While that large of a tire provides the most traction and stability a bike can possibly offer, it's also a lot of rubber to push and might not be for everybody. Luckily, Big Fat Dummy is also a blast to ride with 3" tires too. It uses the same 100mm suspension-corrected fork as the Wednesday, meaning if you want to add a little squishy squishy to your ride, you can throw a Bluto on and let ‘er rip. If you intend to carry a passenger on your Big Fat Dummy, Surly requires use of their Dummy Rail Collars. These provide a secondary retention system for the rack, as well as stiffen the rack system. In addition, a stoker handlebar set up, found on tandem bicycles, is recommended as well. Make sure to check with seat post manufacturer for stoker handlebar compatibility. All Big Fat Dummy framesets and bikes ship with a Dummy deck, rails, bags, and the aforementioned Dummy Rail Collars so you can immediately start hauling cargo — human or otherwise. Big Fat Dummy is ready and willing to carry all sorts of crap — literally. It's already in use on an organic farm in Ecuador so it's likely that it's hauled some form of manure by now. *Using a 26 x 5.25" tire will cause some drivetrain limitations.

If you can characterize your life as on-the-go, busy, or not having enough time, Specialized made a bike just for you—the Turbo Vado 2.0. The 2.0 iteration of the Vado's battery is perfectly suited to urban environments and short trips. The tune, meanwhile, is meant to be as efficient as possible for quick, spontaneous efforts that are demanded when riding in the city. Specialized also made sure that it's totally compatible with Bluetooth, so you can toggle between battery modes to increase your range in real time via the Mission Control App. There are three battery modes to work with in order to maximize the battery life, and with the app, you can even plot your course and the battery will adjust while you're riding to make sure that you get through your ride on one charge. - A custom 2.2-inch BLOKS. digital LCD display enables you to monitor all of your ride data in real time. Without giving a physics lecture, we found that is improves smoothness, speed, and comfort in one fell swoop. Then there's the super wide range of gears that come at the hands of the legendary Shimano Ultegra rear derailleur, plus all the comfort that follows our scientifically tested and engineered Body Geometry components. So as you push yourself to reach your goals, or simply get where you're going, you'll feel more connected to your bike than ever. It'll leave you feeling like you have the perfect partner on your path to health and wellbeing. - The FACT 9r carbon fiber frame is engineered and designed with our Fitness Geometry, helping you ride more efficiently in a position that will see you riding comfortably, mile-after-mile.
