This special edition poses the Brompton as the replacement for that iconic key to New York - the MetroCard. With the impending shutdown of the L-train poised to displace hundreds of thousands of commuters daily, we are working to position Brompton as the ideal bicycle for commuting in New York.
This May, in the heart of Bike Month, we will launch a marketing campaign calling for New Yorkers to "Take Back Transit" and regain control of their commutes, whether by subway, bus, or taxi. Our goal is to connect with a new audience that may not have considered folding bicycles perviously and drive awareness of the Brompton brand. The NYC Transit Edition will be featured and we expect sell through to be strong off the back of this promotion.
